F-35 Lightening II In The Drink!

The F-35 that crashed in January, in the South China Sea, while trying to land on the USS Carl Vinson has been recovered by the U.S. Navy. Announced on March 3, 2022.

It was a race to the aircraft to ensure that China did not capture the downed aircraft to reverse engineer it for their own military. Currently China's J-20 has an underpowered engine that unfortunately they need an upgrade for. Today the U.S. Navy had spoiled those plans.
