2022 has not been very friendly for travelers looking to get out of the pandemic and into some sense of normalcy. Lost baggage and cancelled flights have been the norm so far this year but there appears to be a silver lining for Canada.
Jetlines will have it's inaugural flight from YYZ (Toronto Pearson International Airport) to YWG (Winnipeg Richardson International Airport) on August 15th. Jetlines has yet to receive their license from the Canadian Transportation Agency and cannot fly until they have it.
Canada Jetlines is boasting the widest seats in the industry at 18 inches. Jetlines has one aircraft an Airbus A320 but plans to increase it's fleet to 15 aircraft in the next three years. The A320 will carry 180 passengers in a single class configuration. Services from and to Moncton NB, Toronto ON and Winnipeg MB and will include 4 options: JetLite, JetPlus, JetFlex and JetLines. For more information on flights go to JetLines.com.
We wish Jetlines great success!
What do you think of having another airline in Canada? Will this open up competition?
We look forward to your comments.
