What is replacing the CC-150 Polaris?
On September 3, 2023 the first CC-330 (Airbus A330-200) arrived to replace the aging CC-150 Polaris. There will be another 8 CC-330 arriving in the future at a cost between $1 billion and $4.99 billion for the entire procurement.
What will be the role of the CC-330?
The new aircraft (shown below) will provide troop transport, in-flight refueling of aircraft, cargo airlift, medical evacuations as well as transport of Government of Canada Officials.
